Esko boys basketball falls to Pequot Lakes in Section 7AA championship for fourth straight year
Another year, another heartbreak for Esko boys boys basketball at the hands of Pequot Lakes, as Esko fell on Friday night 59-50 to the Patriots.
Esko, who beat the Patriots 58-50 in the regular season, held a 31-27 lead at halftime. However, they only scored 19 second half points, allowing a Pequot Lakes comeback.
The loss marks the fourth straight year that Esko has lost to Pequot Lakes in the Section 7AA championship. Esko finishes their season with a 22-8 record.
