Esko boys basketball uses strong second half to power past Moose Lake-Willow River
Despite a first half where both teams held the lead, Esko boys basketball took down Moose Lake-Willow River convincingly, 79-51.
The Rebels were able to keep things close thanks to the hot shooting of Eli Youngs and Layne Radzak, however, Esko’s ball movement improved and their defense tightened up in the second half, earning them their fourth win in a row.
Esko looks to make it five in a row when they take on St. Cloud Cathedral on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., while the Rebels will try to bounce back on Tuesday against South Ridge at 7:15 p.m.
