On Saturday, Esko boy’s basketball routed Duluth Marshall in the Section 7AA quarterfinals, winning 84-47.

After a 19 point lead in the first half, Esko kept their foot on the gas and put up 43 points in the second half, just four points less than what Duluth Marshall put up all game.

For the Hilltoppers, Brooks Johnson was the only player in double figures, as he poured in 29 points.

For Esko, they had four players in double figures, with Sam Haugen leading the way with 22.

Esko moves on to face Moose Lake/Willow River in the semifinals.
