Scott Arntson steps down as head coach of Esko football
The Esko football program has flourished under Scott Arntson, going to state four times and producing the likes of Gopher star freshman Koi Perich. Now though, after nine years as head coach, Arntson is stepping down.
Per the Duluth News Tribune, he wishes to spend more time with his grandchildren.
Under his tenure, Esko notched three 10-0 regular seasons, and one state semifinal berth. Arntson was just the fourth head coach for Esko football.
