Esko Native Koi Perich named First Team All Big Ten

Esko's Koi Perich celebrates a touchdown in the endzone 10/13/23.
Esko native and Minnesota Golden Gophers safety Koi Perich has achieved something no Gopher freshman has done since 1986.
Perich was named to the First Team All-Big Ten team after a stellar season with Minnesota. Perich led the entire conference with five interceptions, and also registered 42 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and even forced a fumble.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) gave him an elite 86.7 grade across his 380 total snaps, making him one of the highest-graded freshmen in the country.
