Esko, coming in on a five-game shutout streak, took down Floodwood 3-1 Thursday evening.

Esko starts off hot with Maya Johnson setting this up for Cassie Stark to bump right over floodwood’s defense. Esko leads 10-7. Floodwood fights back with Kenzie Kiminski digging the ball out and taking Esko by surprise to tie things up at 11. After battling back and forth, Esko’s Clara Swanson passes to Cassie Stark who puts it right over Floodwood’s fingers to take the set.

Esko takes the win 3-1.

Esko (17-2) will take on Crosby-Ironton to start off Saturday’s Esko High School Invitational at 9AM.
Floodwood (17-6) will host Carlton/Wrenshall on Tuesday October 8th at 7PM.
