Former Bulldog Brent Laing signed to LA Chargers practice squad
On Tuesday Brent Laing, a former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) All-American offensive lineman, was given another crack at the NFL as he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Lakeville, Minnesota native was signed to the Chargers practice squad effectively immediately. Laing signed with the New York Jets in late April as an undrafted free agent, but was later released.
While at UMD he was a two time All-American and became the first Bulldog to receive an invitation to the NFL Draft Combine.
