Former Bulldogs sign new NHL deals
As the NHL free agent market has opened up, four former UMD Bulldogs have inked themselves new deals.
Riley Tufte, who spent last season with the Colorado Avalanche, where he had two points in five games and spent the majority of his time in the AHL, will be headed to the Boston Bruins, to team up with another former Bulldog, Cole Koepke.
Koepke too spent the majority of his season in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch, where he put up 39 points in 53 games.
The Canucks agreed to terms with Derek Forbort who appeared in 35 games tallying four points. The former Greyhound also spent some time with the Bruins in this years playoff run.
Lastly, Joey Anderson has resigned with the Chicago Blackhawks on a two year deal. Anderson racked up a career-high 17 points in 55 games with Chicago after starting his season in the AHL as well.
