Former Duluth East boy's hockey coach Mike Randolph reaches 700 wins.
This weekend, former Duluth East boy’s hockey coach of 32 years Mike Randolph reached the 700 win mark, something that only two other coaches in the state have reached.
“What I remember the most, and what’s been the most fun is being able to coach in so many big games, state tournament games, section finals, where we used to play Grand Rapids, those are really fun games of course. Someday I’ll sit back and reflect on how lucky I was and realize how lucky I was to be in so many big games.”
Randolph is in his 3rd season at St. Thomas Academy after 32 years coaching Duluth East.
Randolph is seven wins from Lorne Grosso’s all-time record of 707.
