Former UMD Bulldog finds new home after entering transfer portal

Just days after dropping his name in the portal, former University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey forward Anthony Menghini has decided to transfer to the University of North Dakota.

Menghini was an offensive threat for the Bulldogs during his two seasons in the maroon and gold. In the 2024-25 season he tallied 19 points, with 12 goals and 5 assists in the 35 games that he played. In his freshman season, Menghini tallied eight goals and two assists.

Menghini will be returning to North Dakota hockey as he also played for the USHL Fargo force for the 2022-23 season.
