Gabbie Hughes honored with banner at AMSOIL Arena

There were smiles all over AMSOIL arena, as former UMD Women’s Hockey player Gabbie Hughes got her very own banner raised.
Hughes, the 2023 Hockey Humanitarian winner, was the 28th honoree of the award and just the third student athlete to receive the award in WCHA history.
Hughes was the co-founder of Sophie’s Squad, a non profit that served to combat mental health and earned more than $300,000 for mental health resources.
