Game one rally propels UMD softball to doubleheader sweep over Minnesota Crookston

Wednesday the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) softball team picked up a doubleheader sweep over the University of Minnesota Crookston in their third to last regular season series at Malosky Stadium.
The Bulldogs rallied from a three fun deficit to win game on 6-4, then shutout the Golden Eagles 6-0 in game two.
Kiana Bender led UMD in game one with one run, two hits, and two RBI, while Kat Burkhardt led game two with two runs, two hits, and two RBI.
UMD improves to 34-9 on the season and 20-4 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play. They’re next set to host Wayne State College in another NSIC doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Malosky Stadium.
