Gophers’ Koi Perich wins Big 10 Defensive Player of the Week Award

Minnesota Gophers Koi Perich has won yet another award. This time, it’s the Big 10 Defensive Player of the Week Award.
Perich was at it again this week against another California team, last week USC and this week UCLA.
Perich yet again had two interceptions, the second straight game he’s done that, and even more importantly, his second pick was the game sealer.
Perich now has four interceptions on the season, which leads the defense, and he now has the most interceptions from a Gophers freshman since 2007. The Gophers have a bye this week, and host Maryland on October 26.
