Minnesota’s top goal scorer, Mercury Bischoff, and Wisconsin’s top goal scorer, Makaela Reinke met on Tuesday night in Superior, as Grand Rapids/Greenway took down Superior 10-1.

Bischoff added to her state leading total, as she reached the 40th goal of her season to put the Lightning on the board first, and from there, the avalanche would continue.

The Lightning scored four goals in the first period, five in the second, and just one in the third period. At one point, they held a 9-0 lead over the Spartans, but Makaela Reinke put the Spartans on the board in the second period.

The Lightning turn to face Andover on Friday at 7 p.m., while Superior will take on Hudson on Saturday at 4 p.m.
