Grand Rapids/Greenway girls lacrosse picks up 7th straight win
The Grand Rapids/Greenway girls lacrosse team earned their seventh straight win defeating Hermantown/Proctor 14-4 at Hermantown High School Tuesday night.
Mercury Bischoff scored with seconds left in the first quarter to put the Lightning up 6-0. The Stealth broke onto the board early in the second quarter with their first goal coming from Lexi Hoops. GRG would prove too strong, earning the double digit win.
The Lightning improve to 7-2 overall on the season, and haven’t lost a game since April 13. Next, they’re set to host Forest Lake Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Hermantown/Proctor (2-6) next hosts Mahtomedi for their regular season home finale Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Egerdahl Field in Proctor.
