Grand Rapids’ Micah Miller inks AHL contract with the Hershey Bears

Soon Hunter Shepard won’t be the only Grand Rapids boys hockey alum to suit up for the Hershey Bears.

2017 Thunderhawk captain Micah Miller has signed a one-year AHL contract with the Hershey Bears for the 2024-2025 season.
Miller skated for St. Cloud State University for five seasons 2018 to 2023, wearing an ‘A’ his final season. In total he recorded 71 points with the Huskies.
The forward went on to play five games with the AHL’s Tucson Roadrunners across the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons. He spent most of last year with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL. In 63 games he scored 23 goals and 18 assists.
