Grand Rapids’ Riley Toivonen becomes first girl to score a point

On the grid iron Friday night history was made as for the first time ever as senior Riley Toivonen became the first girl to score a point for the Thunderhawks football team with an extra point.
Riley is a multi-sport athlete also serving as goalie for the Grand Rapids-Greenway girl’s hockey team.
She helped the team defeat Pine City by the final score of 47-0.
