Grand Rapids wrestling takes home consolation championship title

The Minnesota State Wrestling championship began on February 27th, and Grand Rapids ended the day with a Class AA consolation championship title under their belts.
Grand Rapids began the day battling No. 3 Simley in the quarterfinals round. Grand Rapids would tie with Simley in points but would ultimately fall due to a tiebreaker 34-33. They would take down Perham 42-24 in the consolation semifinals, before finishing the night with a win over Marshall 30-25.
