Hermantown boy’s hockey falls for first time this season.
The Hermantown boy’s hockey team lost their first game of the year on Friday night, 3-1 to Rosemount.
The Hawks, who sat atop Class A coming into the night, couldn’t find the back of the net in the first period and were outshot 11-9, a trend that would continue throughout the game.
Bradford Skytta scored in the second period, but it would ultimately be Hermantown’s only goal of the night.
The Hawks were outshot 43-31, en route to their 3-1 loss.
Hermantown will look to bounce back on Wednesday against Delano at 3 p.m.
