Hermantown, UMD alum Dylan Samberg signs $2.8M deal with Winnipeg
On Wednesday University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey alum Dylan Samberg signed a big deal.
The 24-year-old Hermantown native re-upped with the Winnipeg Jets inking a new two-year contract worth $1.4 million annually.
The defenseman was a restricted free agent.
Last season Samberg, skating in 68 games for Winnipeg including all five playoff games, recorded two goals and six assists.
He also competed in the 2023 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championships when he recorded four points.
