Two Northland student-athletes made their collegiate commitments official this week.

Solon Springs’ Isaac Dickenson has committed to run for the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) track and field and cross country teams. It’s now an Eagle tradition, as Isaac’s brother Owen Dickenson is a fifth year with the Bulldogs, and his former teammate Dylan Taggart is a freshman. This year Isaac helped Solon Springs/Northwood to a third place finish at the state cross country meet.

Hermantown celebrated Kailee Banta as she committed to play volleyball for Macalester College. This season Banta helped the Hawks to a Section 7AAA title and a trip to the state tournament.
