Hermantown’s Muehlbauer, South Ridge’s Stroschein commit to college

A pair of Northland prep stars have announced their commitments to play college athletics.
Begining with Hermantowns Josh Muehlbauer signing with St. John’s University for football.
This past season he was a Hawks captain and made the North East Red District Football All-Conference Team.
“I’m really grateful for the opportunity to be able to play football after high school. I love this sport, glad to keep on playing it. I really appreciate Hermantown football, they helped me into the player that I am today. I love the coaches and I appreciate them, I wouldn’t be the same person without them. They have been along with the journey and I know especially this is huge for my dad,” said Muehlbauer.
The South Ridge Panthers also had a signing to report on as Slayton Stroschein the 6’9 senior announced that he has committed to play basketball that UW-Superior.
This season Stroschein has averaged 25 points per-game for the Panthers.
“First, I’d just like to thank everyone that got me to this point. I like to thank my mom and my dad, all my coaches that have helped me get here. Along with thanking Starks Academy,” concluded Stroschein.
