The Duluth Huskies have been putting on a show every time they hit the field winning game after game. They looked to keep the action going on the road with a match against the La Crosse Loggers on Thursday night.
The Loggers jumped on the board first with a grounder by Tony Pulta that is caught and overthrown to first base allowing Ethan Fry to cross home for the first run of the game.
In the fourth inning, the game was tied at 2 until Lucas Kelly sent one to rightfield as Jared Mattem found his way home for the score and gave the Huskies the 3-2 lead.
Throughout the game, the Huskies led twice but couldn’t keep the lead to the end as they fell 5 -11. Huskies and the Loggers hit the pitch again tomorrow with the first pitch set for 6:35 p.m.
