Karson Kuhlman heads off to the Finnish Hockey League
Earlier this week, former UMD captain Karson Kuhlman signed a new pro deal in Finland.
The Esko native inked a one-year contract with Lukko of the Finnish Hockey League.
Kuhlman spent this last season with the AHL’s Bridgeport Islanders, recording 12 goals and 10 assists in 72 games.
Leading UMD to a national championship in 2018, he went on to skate in 147 NHL regular season games between the Boston Bruins, Seattle Kraken and Winnepeg Jets, collecting 30 total points.
Kuhlman also saw 16 postseason games with Boston, tallying 4 points.
