Kaylyn Madison earns her second NSIC Defensive Player of the Week award

The UMD Volleyball team is off to a hot start at 9-1, and a lot of that is thanks to their defensive domination.

The leader of that defense is Kaylyn Madison, who was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Madison led the bulldogs to a .087 hitting percentage this weekend and ranks 17th in Division II with over 5.5 digs per set.

Madison becomes the first Bulldog to earn multiple player of the week honors in one season since 2019.

UMD is back in action on Friday against Northern State.
