LA Chargers waive UMD alum Brent Laing

Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football player Brent Laing was waived by the Los Angeles Chargers. He was part of their cuts to meet the 53-man roster deadline, which was 3 p.m. CT Tuesday.
The Chargers initially signed the center to their practice squad in December of 2023.
In April of 2023 he had signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.
