The Huskies looked to bring their winning streak to three Thursday afternoon in their battle against the Bismark Larks. Unfortunately, they would fall 8-1 in a long-fought game.

In the top of the first the Larks put themselves on the board with a single from Cesar Franco, Zach Daudet takes his chance to come home under the tag, Larks lead 1-0.

Next, in the top of the third the Huskies would take the chance and catch Lark’s Zach Daudet stealing to second. The throwdown was successful, to make the second out of the inning.

Huskies would continue to fall into a defensive slump, giving up four runs in the fifth inning, Larks brought in Cesar franco and Erick Desens on walks. Larks are now ahead 5-0.

Finally in the top of the seventh Kyle Hvidsten hits a single out into left field, bringing in both Brady Krzciok and Joey Baran.

Huskies would fall 8-1, they will return to Wade Stadium on July 7th to take on the Thunder Bay Border Cats once more.
