Despite keeping the game scoreless through the fifth inning the Duluth Huskies would give up seven runs to the Eau Claire Express in the final four innings to drop their series opener 7-0 at Wade Stadium Thursday night.
Duluth’s starting pitcher Jayce James pitched five strikeouts over 5.2 innings allowing eight hits. Tyler Leroy led the Huskies offensively tallying three hits.
