The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s hockey team picked up a big sweep over St. Olaf last weekend to claim full control of the number one spot in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
The now MIAC leaders were fueled by a seven point performance from Filimon Ledenkov to earn 7-4, then 4-2 wins in the home-and-home series.
For that, Ledenkov was named MIAC Men’s Hockey Offensive Player of the Week. The junior now leads the nation in Division III in assists per-game with 22.
