Lumberjack Mile & 5K return for seventh year

The Lumberjack Mile & 5K is returning to Grand Rapids on September 9th for its seventh annual event.
The route will once again feature the scenic riverside course that crosses over two bridges and under one beginning and ending at the Itasca County Family YMCA.
Runners are once more encouraged to wear their best lumberjack attire, with an award being given out to the best dressed.
The event will also be held virtually with race entry ranging from $35-$40 for adults and $25-$30 for children.
Proceeds from the race go back to the community through United Way’s Community Impact Fund.
