Maesyn Thiesen to join Bulldog women’s basketball staff, Kieger promoted to lead assistant

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s basketball great Maesyn Thiesen will be joining the Bulldogs’ bench as an assistant coach. On Mandy Pearson’s staff she’ll be alongside Cici Kieger who has been promoted to lead assistant.
An intern assistant last year Kieger and fifth year Thiesen were integral to UMD’s historic run into their first-ever NCAA Division II championship game, where they finished runners-up.
Thiesen would finish third in program history in assists with 491.
