McKnight, Walljasper dominate on the ground, earn 7th win

The UMD football team outgained Minot State 398 to 93 in total yardage en route to a 42-7 win.
Running Back Jaylen McKnight and Quarterback Kyle Walljasper combined for five touchdowns on the ground, including McKnight scoring the first three of the game for UMD.
The lone touchdown for Minot State came on the ensuing kickoff after McKnight’s first touchdown, when Knylen Miller-Levi returned a kick 100 yards into the endzone.
Kyle Walljasper extends his rushing touchdown stats to at least one in seven of the eight games he’s played this season.
The Bulldogs will try for their 8th win next week in Malosky Stadium against Bemidji State at 12 p.m.
