Megan Gustafson among Wisconsin, Minnesota Olympians to arrive in Paris
Port Wing, Wisconsin native Megan Gustafson has officially landed in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics. She posted photos from Friday’s opening ceremony on ‘X’. The South Shore High School alum is competing for Spain’s women’s basketball team.

She is joined in Paris by fellow Wisconsinite, Rice Lake native Kenny Bednarek, who is competing in the 100 meter and 200 meter track and field races. He won silver in the 200 meter in the 2021 Olympics.
Team USA is bringing 18 Wisconsin natives and 18 Minnesota natives to Paris. Among the Minnesotans are former Grandma’s Marathon champions Dakotah Lindwurm and Aaron Pike.
