Minnesota Twins debut new food, technology at “Taste of the Twins” Food Tour

Minnesota Twins debut new food, technology at "Taste of the Twins" Food Tour

While the Major League Baseball season has already started, Twins fans haven’t been able to watch their team at home just yet.

Ahead of the Twins home opener in two days against the Houston Astros, the team showcased their new flavors of the stadium at their annual “Taste of the Twins” event.

Chef Robert Gaston, Executive Chef at Target Field, said, “You don’t want to think, ‘Oh, I go to the ballpark, and all I have is nachos, and all I have is chips’ or whatever, and we wanna be different, we want to push the bar as far as we can push it. I think in the past, we have a history at Target Field of kind of pushing that envelope, kind of letting people know that we think outside the box in terms of food.”

Amongst the items to test were Pizza Lucés pickle pizza, a Sweet & Sour Fried Pork, Grilled SPAM Sandwich, and Lord Fletcher’s Walleye Tacos.
