After a 5-2 win over the Springfield Jr. Blues on Friday evening, the Minnesota Wilderness still have a chance at breaking into NAHL fourth place, earning their spot in the Robertson Cup playoffs.

In their regular season finale, they would take down the Jr. Blues once again, winning 3-1.

Zach Homer would start the scoring off for the Wilderness a little over three minutes into the game. Four minutes later, the Jr. Blues would respond with a goal from Jack Klevby on the power-play.

Six minutes into the second period, the Wilderness would find themselves on the power-play and would capitalize with a goal from Logan Nagle.

Just 24 seconds into period three, and the Wilderness score once again, with Nagle gaining his second goal of the game.

The Wilderness would end the game with a 3-1 win.

To qualify for the playoffs, the Wilderness needed to win over the Jr. Blues, and the Chippewa Steel (who are currently in 4th place) would need to lose against Anchorage. If the Steel win, or gain another point, the Wilderness will remain in fifth place and not advance to the NAHL playoffs.
