Minnesota Wilderness fall to Anchorage Wolverines, eliminated from playoffs
Despite extending their season on Friday night with a win, the Minnesota Wilderness fell to the Anchorage Wolverines 6-2 on Saturday, eliminating them from the playoffs and ending their season.
In the first period, the Wilderness were fighting an uphill battle, allowing two goals, but getting one back thanks to Beau Janzig.
The Wolverines just wouldn’t let up though, adding two goals in the second period as well, while the Wilderness could only muster one.
The Wilderness finish their season at 31-27.
