Minnesota Wilderness fall to Windigo as playoff push continues
The Minnesota Wilderness couldn’t handle the Wisconsin Windigo in the final stages of the game, falling 2-1.
After a 3-0 win yesterday, both teams came out determined to win, but neither team could strike early on, as both goaltenders put up big saves and even bigger numbers.
Alessandro Lurati scored in the second period to knot the game up at 1-1, but would eventually give up the lead and the game in overtime.
The Wilderness are back in action next weekend.
