Minnesota Wilderness pull off shootout victory over Chippewa Steel

A shootout goal by Grand Rapids native Ren Morque lifted the Minnesota Wilderness to a 2-1 victory over the Chippewa Steel Wednesday night in Cloquet.
Hunter Bulger scored the Wilderness’ sole regulation goal in the third period. Netminder Isak Posch would tally 37 saves in the win.
Minnesota went 1/3 on the shootout holding the Steel to 0/3.
The Wilderness will next host the Janesville Jets in North American Hockey League (NAHL) action Friday and Saturday.. Puck drop at Northwoods Credit Union Arena is set for 7:15 p.m. both nights.
