Minnesota’s own Jessie Diggins now most decorated U.S. cross country skier
On Sunday Minnesota’s own Jessie Diggins earned her 14th World Cup win becoming the most decorated United States cross country skier.
In Davos, Switzerland the Stillwater High School graduate and Afton native would claim first place in the 20k with a time of 48:43.2, besting second place finisher Ingvlid Flugstad Oestberg of Norway by five seconds.
The three-time Olympian now sits second in the standings for the overall FIS (International Ski Federation) World Cup title, which she won in 2021.
