On Tuesday the second seeded Moose Lake/Willow River softball team rolled past fourth seeded Cherry 15-5 in the Section 7A semifinals.

The Rebels earn their third straight Section championship berth, and will aim to make their third straight trip to state.

After the loss, Cherry dropped into the elimination bracket championship game where they defeated No. 1 Silver Bay 6-2.

The Tigers (14-10) and Rebels (12-9) will now rematch in the Section 7A title game Thursday at Braun Park in Cloquet. The match is set for 4 p.m. If Cherry wins that will force a game two immediately after. For the full bracket, Click Here.
