No. 1 Mountain Iron-Buhl girls basketball earns big State quarterfinal victory
MIB girl's basketball celebrate Section 7A victory.
The top-seeded Mountain Iron-Buhl girls basketball team picked up a big 65-50 win over Minneota in the Class A state quarterfinals Thursday at Maturi Pavilion in Minneapolis.
The Rangers led 30-24 at halftime then outshot the Vikings 35-26 in the second to secure the 65-50 victory. University of North Carolina commit Jordan Zubich led the game with 25 points.
MIB (28-3) advances to face No. 5 Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (26-4) in the semifinals. Tip-off is set for noon Friday at Williams Arena. For the bracket, Click Here.
