No. 12 UMD men’s & women’s hoops shoot to regular season finale wins
On Wednesday both the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s and women’s basketball teams earned regular season finale wins over St. Cloud State University at Romano Gym.
The 12 ranked UMD men defeated St. Cloud 80-69. The Bulldogs’ Drew Blair led the game with 31 points. They close out their regular season with a 23-5 overall record, and 18-4 record in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play. The First Round of the NSIC tournament tips off Wednesday, February 28.
The UMD women held off St. Cloud by one winning 64-63. The Bulldogs’ Taytum Rhoades led the game with 19 points. They complete their regular season 17-9 with a 14-8 NSIC record. They also tipoff the first round of the NSIC tournament Feb. 28.
