No. 15 UMD volleyball’s NCAA DII Central Regional road ends against No. 3 Wayne State
The No. 15 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball team saw their NCAA DII Central Regional tournament run end Thursday falling to No. 3 Wayne State College 3-0 in the quarterfinals in St. Paul.
As the seventh seed the Bulldogs kept things close dropping set one just 25-20. However the Wildcats rolled ahead taking set two 25-15, then set three 25-21 to earn the 3-0 win thus eliminating UMD.
The Bulldogs were led by Cianna Selbitschka with 13 kills and nine digs, Kaylyn Madison with 17 digs, and Madison Gordon with 35 assists. For the full box score, Click Here.
UMD finishes their 2023 season with a 18-11 overall record.
