No. 4 Northwestern proves too much for UWS volleyball

The University of Wisconsin-Superior volleyball team had a top-ranked test on Friday night hosting #4 Northwestern University of Northwestern – St. Paul Eagles.
The battle between the Yellowjackets and the Eagles went the distance of three sets, with the Yellowjackets falling to the Eagles 0-3.
Junior Jenna Anderson led the Yellowjackets in digs with 12, followed by fellow junior Maiana Stark with six. Starks also led the team in kills with five.
The Yellowjackets will look to rebound and find their way back into the winning column when they host North Central University on Saturday at Mertz Mortorelli Gymnasium. Game is set for 1 p.m.
