No. 7 UMD volleyball gets back on track with sweep over Northern Michigan
The No. 7 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball team got back on track in day three of their Up North Preseason Tournament Saturday afternoon defeating Northern Michigan 3-0. This came one day after the Bulldogs fell 3-0 to No. 23 Central Washington Friday at Romano Gym.
With their win Saturday afternoon the Bulldogs improved to 2-1 in the tournament. They were led in the battle against the Wildcats by Samantha Paulsen with 13 kills, Kaylyn Madison with 16 digs, and Madison Gordon with 34 assists.
UMD closes out their Up North Preseason Tournament Saturday night hosting Southern New Hampshire University for a 7:30pm first-serve at Romano Gym.
