Fifth year defender Ashton Bell tallied her 100th career point helping the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team shut out Harvard 4-0 Friday night at AMSOIL Arena.
Bell’s milestone point came on an assist to Anneke Linser in the final minute of the game making her the program’s 24th member of the 100 point club.
Linser led the Bulldogs scoring two goals while netminder Emma Soderberg tallied 14 saves in her 15th career shutout.
UMD also shut out Harvard 4-0 in their last meeting in the NCAA regional tournament in March.
The Bulldogs (10-5), now on a three game hot streak, will look to secure the non-conference sweep over Harvard in their series finale Saturday at 3 p.m.
