No. 8 UMD women’s hockey blanks Bemidji, Soderberg sets shutout record

The eighth ranked University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team shut out Bemidji State University 6-0 on the road Friday afternoon to open their regular season series finale.
Naomi Rogge tallied two goals and an assist for the Bulldogs. Graduate netminder Emma Soderberg earned her 21st career shutout becoming UMD’s all-time career shutout leader, also tying the single-season with 10.
UMD improves to 22-8-3. Their regular season finale is Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bemidji.
