North Branch, Chisago Lakes set to face off in Section 7AAA semifinals

On Saturday North Branch softball topped Hermantown 3-0, while Chisago Lakes beat Cloquet in Extra innings 4-3.
North Branch’s Abigail Pfeifer make the score 2-0 in the second inning, followed by a Samantha Schmitt RBI.
On the other side of the field Cloquet was down 3-2 in the seventh inning before Alexis Goranson hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game.
A wild pitch in the 9th inning ended the Lumberjacks season.
Both North Branch and Chisago Lakes will now advance to the section 7AAA semifinals on Tuesday at the Grand Rapids Sports Complex. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
