Northland’s Scott Sorenson departing men’s basketball program

Northland College announced on Tuesday that longtime men’s basketball head coach Scott Sorenson will be stepping down.
Leading the Lumberjacks since 2013 Sorenson departs to join the University of Dubuque men’s basketball program.
In his 11 seasons Sorenson lifted the Lumberjacks to their best record in two decades, posting a 10-6 slate in the 2016-2017 season. That year he was also named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Coach of the Year.
