Northwestern football holds off Stanley-Boyd to advance it postseason
Northwestern football took down Stanley-Boyd 26-21 on Friday night, advancing to level three of the WIAA 2024 Boys Football Tournament, just two wins away from a state appearance.
The Tigers came out firing, as Jarrod Fossum returned the opening kick for a touchdown.
The Tigers would go down 15-6 at one point, but would bounce back on both sides of the ball to overcome Stanley-Boyd and set up a date with Saint Croix Falls. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Saint Croix Falls on November 8th.
